Example:

Resolution:

To resolve this behaviour, turn on the Print background colours and images option in Internet Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options, and then click the Advanced tab.
  2. In the Settings box, under Printing, click to select the Print background colours and images check box, and then click OK.

Cause:

This behaviour can occur because the Print background colours and images option is not turned on by default in Internet Explorer.

If the above does not resolve the issue:

In Windows Internet Explorer 8 , you select the Print background colors and images option on the Advanced tab of the Internet Options dialog box. However, the background colours and images may not be printed when you print a Web page.

  1. In Internet Explorer 8, click Page Setup on the File menu. If you do not see the File menu, press ALT.
  2. In the Page Setup dialog box, click to select the Print background Colours and Images check box.

  1. Click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box.
  2. Print the Web page again
